The dog is quartering from side to side. Their tail starts this rapid flagging from side to side. They pounce into the air. Then suddenly wings burst in front of you out of nowhere with your dog in hot pursuit trying to pull the bird from the air. Only those who have hunted over a Flushing dog can truly understand this description. It is a thrill we will never get tired of. Over the years we have had the pleasure of training many of the Spaniel breeds. From the ever popular English Springer to the Welsh, Cocker, Boykin, Sussex, American Water, Clumber and the Irish Water. Here at our kennel, we have had the extreme pleasure to work with all these breeds along with many Retrievers and Poodles to learn the fine art of flushing birds for their handlers.
